A historical bird's-eye map of Titusville, Pennsylvania, printed full wrap on ceramic. This is the town as an artist saw it from above, back when the derricks were still going up.
I restore these myself. The scans come in soft and stained, and I upscale them, clean them up, and pull a century of damage out until the linework prints sharp again.
Edwin Drake hit oil on Oil Creek just south of town in 1859, the first commercial well anywhere, and the whole valley went sideways for about twenty years. Everything that happened in the oil regions after that started here.
